Learn in public. Build for the long term.

My work sits where data architecture, software engineering and applied AI meet. I am interested in systems that can be operated, understood and improved by the teams that inherit them — not just impressive diagrams.

Today I design Data & AI platforms at Mendel, contribute production capabilities to Apache Airflow and publish practical notes about agentic data systems. My academic background is in database systems at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.

I was recognized at the 2025 Harvard Health Systems Innovation Lab Hackathon for work on high-value health systems through AI.

Current focus

The problems I keep returning to.

01

Data platforms

Architectures that connect ingestion, transformation, governance, observability and consumption without hiding operational cost.

02

Agentic systems

AI agents with explicit tools, boundaries and human review loops that solve real workflow problems.

03

Open source

Reusable integrations and provider capabilities that make modern cloud services operable from Apache Airflow.

Cloud, data engineering and AI.
